Summary for Move into Love: A Half-Day Workshop

A Note From Katie:

My first JourneyDance experience was at Kripalu many years ago. It was early on in my chronic illness journey and I working through so much fear and frustration. I was shut down, closed off and scared. I had lost my light in so many ways.

That is why I have such vivid memories of the experience. For that hour, I felt so alive and free. I danced so hard I left with blisters on the balls of my feet and a smile and radiance that completely empowered me. Through movement and dance I was able to connect with my true self and set-my light free!

To say I am thrilled to bring this experience to Philly is an understatement. I’m beyond excited to partner with Toni Bergins and excited to share this transformational workshop with all of you!

Katie Cavuto, MS, RD, RYT

Katie Cavuto MS, RD, RYT

Hi! I’m, Katie. On paper I am a Integrative Dietitian, Yoga Teacher and Wellness Advocate. While these titles definitely permeate my passions in daily life, there is a lot more to my life than my credentials. I’m a mom. Can I stop there? Seriously (insert cliche mom sentiment). I am a heart-on-my sleeve lover of life! I dream big. I love hard. My deep interactions with all of you: my family, my friends, those I work with, and those I meet during the daily rhythm of the day, truly inspire me and flood me with gratitude. I cry often and I’m proud of it. I embrace my imperfections because let’s be real, we all have them, and if you ask me, our ability to embrace our messy lives is a truly beautiful attribute. I love all things that nourish our souls including good food, simple recipes, great conversations, travel, and time on my yoga mat. I willingly aspire to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary moments that make my life and heart so full.

I use my diverse background, as well as the lessons I’ve have learned from my personal chronic illness journey and continued personal growth, to support my clients in learning to connect with their intuition and self-healing powers. Health is holistic and wellness is a personal path though the foundations for most are rooted in trust, self-love, self-respect, and abundant joy. I aim to celebrate these principles as well as your need for simplicity and approach-ability.

Katie’s recipes and wellness tips have been showcased in several on-line and print national magazines as well as on local and national TV.
