Sweet potatoes and butternut squash pair perfectly with tart, fresh cranberries to create the foundation of this savory Sweet Potato, Winter Squash and Cranberry Crumble that is going to be a go-to dish over the next few months. Oats, almonds, spices and maple combine to make a slightly sweet and perfectly crunchy foil to the savory veggies. {Nourish} Holiday Side Dish Round-Up

Orange zest as well as earthy, savory herbs and spices have a tendency to slay me. I am honestly getting giddy just thinking about our holiday spread. Thanksgiving may be  my favorite meal of the year.  While I love tradition, I also enjoy introducing new flavors, grains and vegetables to our holidays so keep it interesting. Say it with me, “Thanksgiving side dish perfection!” This recipe, which combines quinoa, almonds,  citrus, apricots and herbs to create a sweet and savory salad you’ll truly love sinking your teeth into. Make it easy on yourself and batch cook some quinoa so you just have to chop and add ingredients when you’re ready to whip this up.
