Start drooling because this Salted Caramel Almond Butter is ridiculously good and so easy to make you might even have the ingredients in your kitchen! You see, I have been swooning over the homemade peanut butter cups that keep rolling through my Instagram feed but I wanted to make them my own. Well, this was my solution! Almonds, dates, almond milk and sea salt combine to make this ooey, gooey goodness. And by goodness I mean “lick the bowl clean” good.
I whipped up a batch of this almond butter and I almost stopped there. Salty, perfectly sweet and beyond satisfying, I savored a spoonful for what seemed like several, bliss-filled minutes. It was so yummy that I almost lost my motivation to take the next step and create the almond butter cups. Fortunately, once I got a hold of myself, I completed the task.
I know, you are freaking out, right!? Where is the almond butter cup recipe!!??
I would be too. Here is a teaser. Hahahaha.
Check back on Thursday–the recipe is going to post then!
A little pleasure delay does a body good and let’s be realistic, if you make the salted caramel almond butter now now you won’t really be missing.
