With the year coming to a close I find that celebrating bright moments is a great way to reflect and to create gratitude. In regards to the blog…it is an awesome way for you to re-visit or explore a few of the top posts from the past year. From recipes to round-ups, “Katie’s Picks” and many mindful moments, here are the top blog posts from the 2015. Feel free to link to your favorite post in the comments below! Sending you all joy and peace for the New Year!

{1} Welcome to {Nourish.Breathe.Thrive} I can’t think of a better post to kick off this list. I revamped the blog at the end of March last year–whew–it is almost a year old! I came to the realization that wellness is about more than what we eat– it is about nourishing our mind, body and spirit. This post is very personal to me as it speaks to the many moments that sparked a shift in my wellness philosophy.

{3} {Nourish} Roasted Beet+ Poppy Seed Hummus I like to keep my recipes simple so they are approachable and achievable in everyday life. This recipe truly encompasses that mission.

{4} {Katie’s Picks} Kiddo Essentials  This past year I introduced, “Katie’s Picks”, a round-up of my favorite products to help you sort through the crap! I have found it very useful to have resources I can trust so I created one for all of you. I have spent a good amount of time educating you on the importance of reducing your environmental toxin exposure which is not limited to food. Cleaning products and self-care/beauty products are big culprits for disease-causing chemicals. Here are my picks for clean products you can feel good about using on your kids!

{5} {Nourish} Gluten Free Baked Goods Round-Up  One of the best parts of blogging is the sense of community it creates. I love being able to spotlight recipe creations from my RD blogger friends. This gluten-free baked goods round up was a favorite among readers because we all love our sweet treats! Bonus: they are good for you 🙂

{6} {Breathe} Mindful Monday: Carry Sunshine in Your Back Pocket  the “Mindful Monday” posts may be my favorite posts to write. Why? They allow me the time to pause and reflect all the while inspiring you to choose joy and find gratitude each day.

{7} {Nourish} Curried Baby Eggplant This recipe is another example of cooking simply. I am honest about the fact that I do not have the time to spend hours in the kitchen and have found that most of you feel the same which is why this quick and easy eggplant dish made the list!

{8} {Mindful Monday} Eating with Gratitude One of my wishes for all of you is for you to find joy in food. That means no more dieting. No more deprivation. No more negativity. Food is nourishing and through mindfulness you can find gratitude and enjoyment in every bite.

{9} {Thrive} Better Beauty + Must Have Products One of my intentions for 2016 is to educate you on “Better Beauty”. I have partnered with Beautycounter which offers you a one-stop shopping option for non-toxic beauty products. Look out for giveaways and spotlights on “Better Beauty” products including introductions to other brands I love like Acure Organics and Kari Gran.  Did you know that the average woman uses 12 beauty products each day and most contain a slew of disease causing chemicals.  Stay tuned to learn more and in the meantime treat yourself to a “Better Beauty” product to ring in the new year!
